In late 2019, Kristen ran away from home with a boyfriend she met online, Aryion Jackson, an aspiring Houston rapper who goes by the stage name Yung Corleon.
A week and a half later, Kristen was eventually found in a house on Bissonnet Street, a thoroughfare in Houston notorious for street prostitution and gun crime. Jackson turned out to be a pimp who sex trafficked a dozen women and girls, including Kristen.
Kristen was rescued and returned to her parents in Spring, Texas, but she had suffered severe trauma from being a victim of sex trafficking. She gradually began to recover and got her cell phone privileges back in January 2020.
At the time of her disappearance, Kristen was visiting her grandmother for winter break in The Woodlands, near Spring, Texas. She was a good student and was a member of her school’s Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps and the drill team.

Houston Rapper Sentenced To Nearly 30 years In Prison
On February 14, 2023, 24-year-old Aryion Dupree Jackson pleaded guilty to sex trafficking of a minor and conspiracy to traffic an adult female by force, fraud, or coercion. He was sentenced to 27 years in federal prison.
According to court records, Jackson kept 12 girls and women in a house on Bissonnet Street in Houston, Texas, and trafficked them for sex, forcing them to earn $1,000 a day and coercing them with drugs, threats, and beatings.
Jackson denied knowing of Kristen Galvan’s whereabouts or what happened to her. However, he was caught with drugs and cell phones while in custody and was discovered to have continued to control several victims through phone calls.
