Background
Suzanne Clark Simpson is married to her husband of 22 years, Brad Simpson. She is a mother of four children. The couple reside in a mansion in Olmos Park, an exclusive suburb four miles north of downtown San Antonio, Texas.

Disappearance
On October 6, 2024, Suzanne Simpson and her husband attended an event at The Argyle, a private dinner club associated with the Texas Biomedical Research Institute on Patterson Avenue in Alamo Heights, north of downtown San Antonio, Texas.
Between 10:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m, Suzanne was last seen with her husband outside of their residence in the 500 block of East Olmos Drive, near Shook Avenue in San Antonio, Texas, after the couple returned from The Argyle.
Suzanne has never been heard from again. Her husband filed a missing person’s report with the Olmos Park Police Department the next day after she failed to pick up their daughter from school.
Investigation
Suzanne’s husband, Brad Simpson, told police that he learned of his wife’s disappearance after she failed to pick up their daughter from school, at 3:00 pm on October 7, 2024. Brad was uncooperative during the investigation and failed to show up for a follow-up interview.
According to a neighbor, who lives across the street from the couple’s residence, Suzanne and Brad were seen arguing and began physically fighting with each other outside their residence after their return from The Argyle.
Brad Simpson was seen “grabbing Suzanne Simpson’s upper torso area and trying to keep her from running away.” The neighbor then went outside with a flashlight when he heard screaming from a nearby wooded area.
Brad subsequently left the residence in his vehicle, a black 2019 GMC AT4 pickup truck, with a Texas license plate MWD7050, only to return an hour or two later.
On October 10, 2024, Brad Simpson was arrested on charges of assault causing bodily injury-family violence and unlawful restraint. He remains in custody at Bexar County Jail with bonds totaling $2 million.
On October 15, 2024, authorities began a search in a landfill on the southeast side of Olmos Park, Texas, stating that they are “confident there is a good chance” of recovering the body of Suzanne Simpson.
