Disappearance
On April 21, 2024, Kalie Goodwin was last seen at her apartment complex on Decker Drive in Baytown, Texas, around 7:00 pm.
Kalie never returned home and hasn’t been heard from since.
On April 22, 2024, Kalie’s mother received a call from two men demanding a $600 ransom and was provided with a CashApp account to send the funds to. Kalie was reportedly heard crying in the background and saying she was getting beat up.
On April 23, 2024, her mother filed a missing person’s report with the Baytown Police Department.
Investigation
Authorities determined that Kalie Goodwin got into a vehicle with an unknown man after she left her apartment complex, and was then taken to an area in south Houston near the Fuqua/Hiram Clarke and South Post Oak/Irish Hill neighborhood.
The vehicle she was in was registered to owner of the CashApp account given to Goodwin’s mother, which belongs to the girlfriend of a man named Quan Sergio “Country” Flowers, who was facing charges for the murder of another woman.
Authorities identified the owner of the phone used to call Kalie’s mother as 55-year-old Kevin Patterson. Both Quan Sergio Flowers and Kevin Patterson are currently in custody in Harris County Jail.
Murder Suspect Named a Person of Interest in Kalie Goodwin’s Disappearance
On May 3, 2024, 24-year-old Megan Rouse was found dead along Anagnost Road, a secluded dirt road in the Almeda area near Highway 288 in Southwest Houston, Texas, just twelve days after Kalie Goodwin’s disappearance.
39-year-old Quan Sergio “Country” Flowers was arrested and charged with murder in connection with her death on May 31, 2024,.
On June 3, 2024, Quan Sergio Flowers was named a person of interest in Kalie Goodwin’s disappearance. He was subsequently charged with the aggravated kidnapping of Kalie on June 20, 2024, .

Foul play is strongly suspected in Kalie Goodwin’s disappearance. The circumstances of Kalie’s disappearance remain unclear and her case is currently classified as missing.
