Linnon Latham, who is 18 years old, was last seen Tuesday night at 11:30 pm near Vizcaya Park. Officials from Miramar Police said the same thing. The search for the boy ended on Thursday when his body was found in a lake in the Vizcaya community.
So far, there are no signs of foul play, but the cause of death has not yet been found. Officers did not say how they found Latham’s body.
Several police departments are looking into the situation to figure out what happened that night. Police have also asked people to contact them if they have any tips or information that could help with the case.
Linnon Latham, who was 18 years old, hasn’t been seen since Tuesday at 11:30 p.m., when he was last seen near Vizcaya Park at 14200 SW 55 St., according to police. Tania Rues, who works for the police, said the same thing.
After Latham went missing on Tuesday, search teams were sent out to find the 18-year-old boy. Several local government officials and famous people helped Latham’s mother as she looked for her missing teenage son. Last time anyone saw him, he was wearing a white t-shirt, red Adidas joggers, and Gucci slides.
Officials at the time thought it was “suspicious” that he had gone missing and were worried about his safety. The South Florida Water Management District, the Broward Sheriff’s Office, the Miami-Dade Police Department, the Pembroke Pines Police Department, and others helped find Linnon Latham.
After finding Linnon Latham’s body, police officials said:
“It is with a heavy heart that we announce the search for Linnon ‘LJ’ Latham has come to a close.”
On Thursday, his body was found in a lake in the Vizcaya Park area. This is where he was last seen before he went missing. The Broward County Medical Examiner’s Office got his body to figure out what k*illed him.
Authorities have asked anyone who knows anything about what happened to Linnon or how he died to contact Broward County Crime Stoppers.
In a separate case, a 35-year-old man from Sullivan County went missing on March 30. Unfortunately, his body was also found in a swampy area. Back in 2021, more than 500,000 people were reported missing. Even though many people were found, there were still a lot of people who could not be found.
