Disappearance
24 year old Braonain McGinnis was last seen leaving his home in Glen Burnie, Maryland on the afternoon of December 21, 2023.
He was reported missing after failing to report for work later that night.
On January 3, 2023, Braonain’s car was found 2,000 miles away in northern Arizona.
Investigation
Braonain’s phone stopped pinging near the back entrance of the Marley Station Mall in Maryland on December 21, 2023.
According to family friend Lucas Frasier, a withdrawal of $200 was made from his bank account on the night he disappeared.
On January 3, 2024, Braonain’s vehicle, a Hyundai Accent sedan, was found abandoned by an Arizona DPS trooper on the shoulder of 89A near Page, Arizona. The vehicle was found by milepost 570, between House Rock Road and Jacob Lake Inn. The car did not have a license plate and had little gas left.
Braonain’s phone, a red galaxy with a black otter box, is also missing, as well as a black and yellow jacket.
Authorities believe Braonain’s car had been there since December 30, 2023. One witness came forward and stated that the car had been there since December 26.
It is believed Braonain left on foot without a specific destination in mind. His family and friends say his behavior was normal before his disappearance.
The Sheriff’s Office search and rescue team has done several searches around the area where his car was found, but no further clues as to Braonain’s whereabouts have been found.

The location of Braonain McGinnis, as well as the circumstances surrounding his disappearance, remains unknown. His case is classified as endangered missing and remains unsolved.
Appearance
White male with brown hair and blue eyes. Braonain stands 5’11 tall and weighs 180-190 pounds. At the time of his disappearance his hair was long and he had a full beard.
Clothing & Accessories:
Braonain was last seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and black shoes.
