23-year-old Darian Hudson was last seen in Stillwater, Oklahoma on October 22, 2017. Her family was alerted to her disappearance after she failed to show up to work the day after she shared plans of moving back home to be closer to her family in Wichita, Kansas.

Background of Darian Hudson

Darian Michelle Hudson was born on April 20, 1994. She attended Hutchinson High School, Barton County Community College in 2012, and Langston University in 2014 with a softball scholarship.

In the year leading up to her disappearance, Hudson suffered a miscarriage, broke up with her boyfriend, and experienced the death of her dog. Her family believes she may have been going through a mental health crisis.

In 2017, Darian was a resident of Stillwater, Oklahoma. She lived in a duplex apartment on West Fifth Street and worked as a server at Chili’s, a grill & bar restaurant on Perkins Road.

Disappearance of Darian Hudson

On October 21, 2017, Darian Hudson spoke with her mother on the phone, saying that she had decided to move back home to be with her family in Wichita, Kansas in order to save money and enroll in nursing school.

Darian never showed up to work the following day and hasn’t been heard from since. On October 28, 2017, her family filed a missing person’s report with the Stillwater Police Department after being alerted about her disappearance. 

Investigation of Darian Hudson

Darian Hudson left most of her personal belongings behind at home, including her cellphone. Authorities found no signs of forced entry or foul play at the apartment. The door was open with the light on and there were dishes in the sink.

On December 2, 2017, authorities were alerted when a man attempted to use Darian Hudson’s credit card at a hotel in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

The man told police that he had found the card in a purse on a concrete sewage container at the construction site of Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church near McElroy and Country Club Roads in Stillwater, Oklahoma in October 2017.

On October 26, 2017, a woman matching Darian’s description was reportedly seen by construction workers, sitting alone in a wooded area south of the church construction site, appearing blank and unresponsive.

Later that day the woman was seen by a resident, who lived in a property adjoining the church, emerging from the woods and talking to the man’s grandchildren before she headed north to McElroy Road and then west toward Country Club road.

The woman was last seen that evening sitting on construction equipment, seemingly waiting for a ride. Authorities conducted a search of the area and found a sweatshirt and wallet containing Hudson’s identification and credit cards, but no further clues as to her whereabouts have been found.

Whereabouts

The circumstances of Darian Hudson’s disappearance remain unclear and her case is currently classified as missing. Her case remains unsolved.
