A 4-year-old boy was k*illed in a utility terrain vehicle crash in Arizona Saturday.
The boy’s family identified him as Jaziel Coronado and set up a GoFundMe to help with burial costs.
“He was a loving, caring, helpful, thoughtful. He was funny, always smiling,” Jaziel’s grandmother Monica Benavidez said.
The Pima County Sheriff’s Office said the boy was riding in a two-seat UTV but was not wearing a helmet and wasn’t restrained.
Authorities said the driver failed to negotiate an embarkment, and the UTV rolled over.
Jaziel’s mother was also a passenger in the vehicle, but she was not injured, according to the sheriff’s department.
Jaziel’s family said he had just graduated from preschool last week, and his 5th birthday was in two months.
“Everybody loved him. He was a star. He lit up every room. Everyone I know is devastated and says the same thing, that he was the light to every room,” Benavidez said.
