An urgent search is underway for Brenna Swindell, a single mother of three and the daughter of former Astros pitcher Greg Swindell, who has been missing for several days.
Swindell, 29, was last seen on Thursday night at Poodies Hilltop Roadhouse in Spicewood, Texas, with her ex-boyfriend, Morgan Guidry.
She hasn’t contacted her family, and her phone is turned off. Authorities believe she could be with Guidry, driving a white 2022 Kia Carnival van with the Texas license plate VFS 7528.
In a social media post Sunday, Swindell’s mother, Sarah Swindell, said the vehicle was spotted on I-25 in Colorado on Friday, and possibly in Colorado Springs on Sunday. Swindell’s sister said that her last known location was in Boise, Idaho, as of Monday morning.
Swindell is 5’10” tall and weighs roughly 140 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes with tattoos on both of her arms. Her family said she has a tattoo sleeve on one arm with flowers and a spider web tattoo on the opposite shoulder.
Her family believes she’s in danger and would never abandon her children. Sarah Swindell described Guidry as being “in trouble with law” at the time of her daughter’s disappearance.
On Friday, a warrant was filed for his arrest in Travis County on a charge of assault by impeding breath or circulation, according to court records.
Anyone who sees Swindell or has information on her whereabouts is asked to call 911 or the Austin Police Department’s Missing Persons Unit at (512) 974-5250.
