A Tennessee teen who went missing in Florida has been found safe, according to the Pensacola Police Department. 16-year-old Abigail Kate Velez went missing last week.
The Knox County Sheriff’s Office originally took to Facebook to announce a search was underway for Velez.
The girl, who is the daughter of a local East Tennessee police officer, went missing on Thursday night while on vacation in Pensacola, Florida. She was last seen at Baptist Hospital on 123 Baptist Way at 9:30 p.m. before being located.
Velez is 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing about 130 pounds, with green eyes and dirty blonde hair.
