26-year-old Sara Ebersole was last seen in Reddick, Florida on March 3, 2023. She disappeared after leaving work and getting into a car with two unknown individuals.
Background
Sara Gail Ebersole was born on September 18, 1996 and is the youngest of seven siblings.
Ebersole grew up in Sarasota, Florida, and was primarily raised by her maternal uncle and aunt. As a teenager, she occasionally stayed with her older sister in Dunnellon.
In 2014, 18 year old Ebersole got married and moved to Dunnellon with her husband. The marriage was short lived, with the couple separating a year later.
At the time of her disappearance, Ebersole was living with a roommate on 19220 Northwest 60th Avenue in Reddick, Florida, and worked as an exotic dancer.
Ebersole has a daughter who lives primarily with her ex-boyfriend, the child’s father.
Disappearance
On March 2, 2023, Sara Ebersole got off work around 7:00 pm and sent a text message to her sister asking for a ride home, but her sister was unavailable at the time. At 7:50 pm she sent another text, telling her sister to say “hi” to her children.
Ebersole’s last text to her sister was sent at 10:11 pm, saying she “was getting into a random truck with some cowboys” and that she hoped “they took her on a ride.’”
Shortly after 10pm, Ebersole was seen on surveillance camera leaving the Circle K gas station on 17980 North Highway 441 in Reddick, Florida, and getting into a black pickup truck with two unknown males.
Sara Ebersole never returned home and hasn’t been heard from since.
Sara’s roommate attempted to file a missing person’s report on March 3, but was told by police that she needed to wait a week. Her family filed a missing person report with the Marion County Sheriff’s Office when they couldn’t contact her.
Investigation
Authorities were able to determine the identity of the two males in the black pickup truck Ebersole was last seen getting into. They were both interviewed, but no further information has been released.
Authorities later stated that Ebersole was last seen during the early morning hours on March 3, 2023, getting into a blue sedan, possibly a Hyundai. Citing the ongoing investigation, authorities will not say whether they have located the blue sedan or it’s owner.
According to her sister, one of the two men’s roommates claimed that Ebersole went to their residence that night and they were all hanging out until 3:00 or 5:00 am when she left on her own in a blue vehicle.
Tyrone Morman Named Person of Interest
In March of 2024, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office named Tyrone Morman as a person of interest in Sara Ebersole’s disappearance.
It is unknown how Ebersol and Morman knew each other, though authorities have determined he is the individual she left with during the early morning hours of March 3, 2023.
During a search of Morman’s phone, detectives located information which suggests Morman and Sara were at a 24-hour convenience store in the Northwest part of Marion County in the early morning hours of March 3, 2023. Morman has been uncooperate with detectives, and authorities are asking the public to come forward with any information.

The investigation into Sara Ebersole’s disappearance is currently ongoing and active. The circumstances of Sara’s disappearance remain unclear and her case is currently classified as missing. Her case remains unsolved.

Distinctive Physical Features:
Sara has a tattoo on her lower right hip of the fertility deity, Kokopelli.

Sara was last seen wearing a white tank top and black shirt.
