19 year old Sean Sidi was last seen in San Francisco, California on May 21, 2013. He disappeared after telling his father he was taking a bus to Golden Gate Park.

Disappearance details

Sean Sidi visited a former high school teacher at the French American International School, which is situated at 150 Oak Street in San Francisco, early on May 21, 2013.

Before that visit, he had called his mother and told her he was going to school to “pick up a tape.”

Later on, the teacher attested to the visit, and surveillance footage shows Sean walking out of the school at 11:38 a.m. in an unknown direction.

Sidi called his father at 1:30 p.m. and informed him that he would be taking the bus to Golden State Park. At 2:00 pm, his phone died, and he hasn’t been seen or heard from since.

Sidi rarely left home for extended periods of time, and usually kept in touch with his family as to his whereabouts.

A week and a half after his disappearance police were able to trace Sidi’s phone location to the eastern section of Golden Gate Park. An extensive search of the area was conducted, but no sign of Sidi was found.

Six months before his disappearance Sidi suffered a traumatic brain injury in an accidental fall. He’s considered medically fragile, and needs medication. His case remains unsolved.
