26-year-old Kennedy Walton was last seen in Saint-Louis, Missouri on March 4, 2022. She disappeared after spending the night out with a group of friends.

Background

Kennedy Walton was raised in Belleville, Illinois with two sisters.

At the time of her disappearance, Walton was living with two roommates in south St. Louis, Missouri. She often traveled to see her mother and sisters in Belleville, Illinois, about 25 minutes away.

Disappearance

Around noon on March 3, 2022, Kennedy Walton was picked up by her aunt at the Swansea station MetroLink in Swansea, Illinois, since Kennedy’s car was down at the time.

Later that day Walton and her aunt went to pick up Walton’s mother’s at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital. Walton was in town to help take care of her sisters while her mother recuperated from a procedure.

Around 9:30 pm, Walton, along with her aunt and mother, arrived at her mother’s home in Belleville, Illinois. Walton planned to stay there that night, but was captured on surveillance video at 10:30 pm leaving the house in her mother’s vehicle.

Walton’s mother texted her around midnight, asking where she was and Kennedy replied saying she was “on her way in a minute.” Her mother went back to bed, but woke up around 2am and texted her again when she realized Kennedy hadn’t made it home. She received no response.

On March 4, 2022, Walton was subsequently seen at Show-Me’s Sports Bar & Grill in St. Charles, Missouri, where she spent the rest of the evening, having dinner and drinks for a birthday celebration with a group of friends, including one of her roommates.

At 1:10 am, Walton suddenly left the bar and returned to her mother’s vehicle which was parked in the restaurant’s front parking lot. When one of her friends went to look for her, Walton was seen crying inside the vehicle and said “she was going to be fine, and nothing was wrong.”

Around 2:00 am Walton left the bar when the birthday celebration ended and drove away. According to the same friend, Walton reportedly “sped up and passed” their car as they were driving on the highway.

Walton was last seen by her friends driving away from her residence in St. Louis, Missouri. Kennedy Walton never returned home and hasn’t been heard from since.

When Walton hadn’t returned by the next morning her mother immediately knew something was wrong and reported her missing to the Belleville Police Department.

Investigation

On March 10, 2022, her mother’s vehicle, a 2007 white Chevrolet Tahoe truck, was found abandoned about two blocks from Walton’s house in St Louis, Missouri.

Authorities found no damage to the vehicle, but it appeared to have been cleaned out and several items were reportedly missing. The car was reportedly parked by an unidentified male, according to a neighbor.

Whereabouts

Police found no evidence for foul play in Kennedy Walton’s disappearance. The investigation is currently active and ongoing.

The circumstances of Kennedy’s disappearance remain unclear and her case is currently classified as missing. Her case remains unsolved.

Appearance

Physical Description:
Black female with black hair and brown eyes. Kennedy is 5′ 11” tall and weighs 260 – 270 pounds.

Distinctive Physical Features:
Her ears are pierced.

Clothing and accessories:
Kennedy was last seen wearing a black shirt, black leggings and a black jacket.
