29-year-old Jordan Taylor was last seen in New York, New York on January 6, 2023. He was reported missing after his cellphone and wallet were later found abandoned at different times, located three miles apart.

Background

Jordan Taylor graduated from Spring Valley High School in 2011. He later studied at SUNY New Paltz where he graduated in 2015 with a double major in political science and Black studies.

Jordan was politically involved in local activism and community organizing. He had previously worked on the congressional campaign of Antonio Delgado and Baltimore City Council President Nick Mosby. He was also deeply involved in the Black Lives Matter movement.

At the time of his disappearance, Jordan was a first year student at CUNY School of Law. He was living with his brother in Queens, New York.

Before his disappearance, Jordan had just completed his first semester finals at CUNY Law School and was awaiting results.

Disappearance

At 4:18 pm on January 6, 2023, Jordan Taylor changed his facebook profile picture to a selfie of him wearing a white mask.

Later that day Jordan went to the Hustle, a barber shop located on Hillside Avenue in Queens, New York. At 6:48 pm he abruptly left in the middle of his haircut, telling his barber that he had to go after receiving a phone call.

Jordan was later seen standing outside of the barber shop for 5 to 10 minutes.

Around 9:00 pm phone records show that Jordan went to the Port Authority bus terminal where he seemingly spent some time until midnight.

On January 7, 2023, phone records tracked Jordan to a location near The Q, a LGBTQ-friendly club on 8th Avenue and 48th Street in Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan, between 12:11 am and 1:04 am.

Around 2:30 am, Jordan was last seen on security footage walking by himself without his coat near the Goldman Sachs building in Lower Manhattan.

Jordan Taylor never returned home and hasn’t been heard from since.

Investigation

On January 7, 2023, Jordan Taylor’s phone was found abandoned around 1:30 am near The Q nightclub in Hell’s Kitchen, on 46th or 47th Street.

Authorities reviewed video footage from outside The Q, but did not see Jordan enter or exit the club at any point.

Around 9:00 am, his wallet, which contained some cash and all of his credit cards, was discovered outside of the Goldman Sachs building on West Street in Battery Park City.

Whereabouts

Police found no evidence of foul play in Jordan Taylor’s disappearance. His case is currently active and ongoing.

The circumstances of Jordan Taylor’s disappearance remain unclear and his case is currently classified as missing. His case remains unsolved.

29 year old African American male. Jordan has black hair, brown eyes, stands 5’11 tall and weighs 170 pounds.

Jordan was last seen wearing a black-and-red argyle sweater, a dark blue hooded coat, black pants, and black sneakers.
